Pictures of Colwyn Bay Part 1

Colwyn Bay has had some stick over the years, but I have been going out with my camera over the past few weeks to take pictures and prove to people that it’s not so bad!

Here are just a few that I have collected:

Work has been going on for the past few months on The Central). It has now been completed and has been renamed to The Station (the building’s original name). I absolutely love the new look and will be going in for a bite to eat!

I always walk or drive past the Colwyn Bay War Memorial and don’t pay much attention to it, so the other day I went to take a proper look at it. The park is great and full of flowers. It’s also a nice place to go to relax and get away from all the noise.

St. Paul’s Church is right across the road from the Indever HQ. It looks lovely this time of year and the church grounds are another great place to relax or even have a picnic.

Most of us aren’t fans of graffiti, but when done right it brightens up and adds character to alleyways. I loved this one in particular.

Outside Porter’s Cafe on Station Road. This has got to be my favourite place to eat in Colwyn Bay. The prices are reasonable and the food is really good quality, definitely worth a visit!

This is part of a regeneration project that is currently happening lead by Colwyn Bay THI. I’m really glad that there are people out there who want to help improve the town, so far they are doing a great job!

I hope you enjoyed looking at these pictures and reading a bit about Colwyn Bay. I will be doing a part 2 to this blog next week after I have gathered some more great pictures of the town. If you would like me to come and take a picture of you and your business for part 2, please get in touch!
